The Conforti Shark Injector Performance Engine Software represents the most cost-effective approach to increasing engine performance. It's also one of the easiest upgrades that you can do yourself. The Shark Injector has been developed and tested on the dyno to provide a safe increase in power by altering fuel enrichment, cam timing and ignition timing specifically for use with 91+ octane gasoline. This OBD-II Performance Engine Software also provides an increase in the factory rev-limit allowing for optimum shift points for maximum acceleration. Not only do we re-map part-throttle fuel and spark, we also re-map other areas of chips other tuners don't touch - such as acceleration enrichment, transition fueling (how the car responds to rapid change in pedal), and VANOS control.
This is a GREAT first upgrade for your car! Performance software is always where we start when tuning a BMW. And no one does a better job than Jim Conforti. Typical gains are over 12hp with a big increase at 6000 RPM. There is also a significant torque increase starting at 4000 RPM. This programmer will work very well with the aFe Cold Air Intake and a set of Under Drive Power Pulleys.
This power programmer unit works on the 1999-2000 E39 528i, E46 323i/328i, Z3 2.3 and Z3 2.8 BMWs.
